A small sample from the now gone Terraced Warungs from previous visit
The rally began late today due to a self inflicted virus (Bintang)
With the hostage secured in the back seat the .. boys were off to "Dreamland Beach"
With a few low speed hill climbs "Bloody fuel" and a drive into what was "Tommy S's Folly",
a huge resort that is now a ghost town overlooking Dreamland.
Once there you find a little oasis with a few warungs and no hawkers.
Pulling out of Dreamland we headed to Uluwatu only to find the old 3 tier
Warungs now gone ( the Top Photo was taken from the Old Warungs) and very
little to show they even existed.
With the late start .... for the afternoon returned to Kuta for some pool work,
Rest @ Rec and some target practice by the marshal.
We found the "Bali Galleria" next to the big bus staging area built just before
the bomb and the only people there were us its huge as you can see from the photos
and that's only one of 4 streets Flash but empty

A few Ceremonies spotted as we continued our travels throughout the day ....
An interesting little snack stop along the way ... Its very hard to get a good
feed of ProgLegs these days !!
After perusing the menu the conversation to the Restaurant Staff was along
the lines of ....
Andretti .. "How big are your Prog Legs and do they taste like chicken ?" .. Yes Yes
Marshal .. "What's in your club sandwiches then?" ... "Club" was the reply !

The run back from Uluwatu was a noisy affair, the Jimny seemed to be down
on power. Just into Legian the journey was interrupted by the Marshal
"What's the little red oil can light on the dash mean Andretti?.
"Bugger, that will be a stop go penalty ... maybe just a stop penalty Hold on"
replied Andretti . With a quick change down they found themselves in Matahari
in search of the good oil. As the conventional 20w-50 could not be found ...
a fine aromatic oil was substituted. "Works on the speedas...it'll do until
we hit the service area"
