DAY 6 - We want more Denpasaar

But here we go for the Day 6 Run .......

Buy now as you may have guessed the Hire Jimny is getting pretty tired
Come on Andretti .. drag it's bones out for another run into Denpasaar!

Stay tuned .......

After suffering a stop go penalty for not completing the course yesterday Andretti
was forced to find even more short cuts through Denpasaar.

With the first check point at Ramayana it was apparent that the crew had
missed the turn off and had to continue in to Denpasaar at full steam in to
the town real.

"Bugger ...break out the book again Marshal" ... I'm stumped, if I can find
SAKURA I can get some dodgy silvers discs (Cd's) and bribe the course director.

Sakura is a small shop on the right as you look out of Ramayana and at the
moment is one of the only places with a good selection of "backup software"
with CD's at 15,000rps.
With the discs firmly in hand the crew found themselves in the lead once more.

With there position cemented after supplying a couple of new releases they decided
to take a slow run home via a few bars including the "Indo-International" for
some bloody cold drinks. (see the Day 5 pic's for a reminder )

After checking in with the Bali Cyber the crew were told of more mail
....bunya mail. Back to the base to clear some emails

The evening run

After some late afternoon shopping for gifts the crew cruised North to the
Bali Cyber to meet with Ken ... ( Mr Bali travel Forum Administrator) for a
evening of re-hydration at another favorite the Kura Kura in Legian.

Along the way a stubborn and unaware dog had positioned him self in the middle
of the gang as Andretti changed down a gear in a effort to increase velocity
(Ed .. a normally good thought .. but in the Jimny .. velocity ... Nah !)

Marshal grabbed something from the glove box, lent out of the side widow, and true
to his name took the law into his own hands "Click ... Pang .... yelp .... Click
... pang ... yelp and its stubbornness was gone and the dog was out of harms way.

Andretti wheeled the car off to the side of the gang, and when normality had
returned ... Andretti looked across "Give me a look at that".... Click ...thwang
... Click ... Pink .... "I gotta get one of these" And off they went.

Upon arrival at Kura Kura we were met by the host Freddy and led upstairs
to a table hotly pursued by 3 large Bintangs. (the first of many)

The food was, as always lovely and the lagers always cold. A lot of information
was gained from their guest ( Ken ) and a friendship made, but there was Rally work
to be done. With a Click .... ping ....clunk they were off to Legian in search of
tourists, how ever I believe the Marshall was looking for Targets.

With the arrival of the weekend planes from Oz tourist numbers are up and the club
are starting to get them in especially the "Bounty", where the crew ended their night.

Tomorrow ..... ULLUWATU to check on the Huge Surf and count the broken surf boards
and a lunch in Nusa Dua

( Hopefully there will be some pics' soon to add to this lot !! ... )
